Gravity

The one important thing to think about in the jewellery design process is to think about the weight of each piece. How the wearer feel about the weight of each piece when it's been worn is important as well as calculating the actual weight of the metal and stones. The reason why we all feel the weight of each items is that there is the force of gravity. The form of the soft material would change because of the gravity, however we only use hard materials in the fine jewellery indsutry, because of the durability of each items which could be worn more than 1000 years and more with good care. This is the collection to challenge our parception to make hard materials look soft with the form of the metal and with the distortion of the senses by illusion.
